Shtrii Shakti (S2) is a Non Governmental Development Organization established in the year 1991 as a women-led national development organization. It was formed from a nucleus of development professionals, activists, researchers and project implementers who are experienced in project design, implementation, technical contingency planning, advocacy, networking, monitoring and evaluation.

To not only help fulfill the basic needs of the marginalized and excluded but also to encourage these people to be agents of change within their own households, communities, country, region and beyond.
